Annette has been my mentor for close to 25 years.  We joined together through the donor conception world.  I met her in her home with my other mentor, Sharon Kaplan-Rozia, as she was finishing her book, Lethal Secrets.  Since I am an Iowa farm girl, Annette really enjoyed all of my farming stories with the bulls and inseminations.  We have presented together at many conferences.  She has provided me with a beacon of light to continue to eliminate secrecy and anonomynity in donor conceptions.  Annette and Ephron have also become very good friends.  My husband and I have visited them in L.A. and Santa Monica.  I am very saddened with her loss but continue to be determined to carry her on work.  My sincere sympathy for Annette’s family.  I know she will be dearly missed.  However, the world is in a better place because of all that Annette has given and left behind.  Thank you for this opportunity to share.
